An award-winning multi-platform executive producer, commissioner and content team leader specialising in short and medium-form visual storytelling, content strategy, entertainment formats and digital content distribution for brands and broadcasters.

I deliver stand-out, world-class projects that shine a light on remarkable individuals and unconventional mindsets, and lead diverse teams to harness their talents to deliver highly innovative, creatively-challenging visual work that is strategically-focused, offers commercial value opportunities and addresses business needs. Above all, I ensure the delivery of gold-standard, relatable projects that are welcoming and non-judgemental; attracting a broad, mainstream audience while delivering authentic, inspiring and youthful experiences.

My core areas of specialism include music, culture, sport, entertainment and education. My production experience includes BAFTA-winning children's programming, world's-first feats in action sports cinema, low-cost repeatable music formats, fully-integrated live event and campaign creative, immersive multi-camera live broadcasts, music promos and documentaries. In between, I’ve helped Red Bull to become the most-shareable video brand in the world, broke records for social engagement with my productions (The BRITs), had my work introduced by the Prime Minister in the middle of their headline party conference speech, flew two planes indoors (and one skatepark 2,000ft in the air), was awarded a 5-star review in the Guardian for an augmented-reality rave and made a reality TV show with robots.

JIM HOLMES

Beginning my career as an advertising creative and music journalist, I transitioned full-time into content creation for brands and broadcasters in 2008. Since then, I have managed editorial teams, ideated, pitched and overseen delivery of video productions and 360 campaigns for the world's biggest brands and broadcasters: from The BRITs and Glastonbury Festival coverage to a season of segments for Blue Peter, to audience-acclaimed live broadcasts in the worlds of sports and music.

With a passion for delivering best-in-class creative campaigns, programmes and strategic content plans - I have been Executive Producer on some of Red Bull's most successful events, films and social campaigns in the last decade; and w
ith 15 years of experience in the industry, I've had the privilege of working with renowned brands and incredibly talented individuals who are an extended part of the Act 5 family. 

 

My mission is to bring your vision to life through creative storytelling, data-driven insights and technical expertise; working closely with clients to ensure strategic success and innovation is at the forefront of every project. From concept development to post-production, I am committed to delivering exceptional work that engages and inspire audiences worldwide.
